
The government will convene meetings of all parties on Thursday 8 May, Sindoor Kiren Rijiju, Minister of Parliamentary Affairs, said on Wednesday.
“Govt called a meeting of the leaders of all parties at 11 am on May 8, 2025 in the Committee: G-074, in the parliament building, a complex of parliament in Nový Delhi,” he said in post X.
The meeting of all parties of the government comes the day after the Indian armed forces carried out targeted strikes in terrorist camps in Pakistan and Pakistan occupied by Kashmir.
Amit Shah to talk to CMS, other officials of bordering states
The Minister of the Interior of the Union AMIT Shah is also ready to organize a meeting with the main ministers, DGPS and the main secretaries of 10 countries and trade union areas through video conferencing. These states are those that share boundaries with Pakistan and Nepal.
Here is a list of states and uts with which Amit Shah will organize an appointment –
Jammu and Kashmir (LG and Main Minister), Pandjab, Rajasthan, Gujarat, Uttarakhand, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Sikkim, West Bengal and LG Ladakh.
The Prime Minister of the Chair will meet
At the beginning of the day, Prime Minister Narendra Modi chaired the Union’s cabinet meeting, hours after the Sindoor operation to destroy terrorist hotspots in Pakistan and Pakistan Kashmir.
During the PM Modi meeting, he welcomed the armed forces for their contributions in the attack on terrorists, PTI reported.
According to the report, soon after the Minister of Defense Rajnath Singh informed the cabinet about Sindoor’s operation, the entire cabinet called the action and management of the Prime Minister by banging tables.
PM Modi also learned that his government would have zero tolerance to terror, PTI reported.
SINDOOR OPERATION
The Indian armed forces, which were retaliation against the terrorist attack of Pahalgam, carried out missile strikes on nine terrorist goals in Pakistan and Pakistan-Kashmir, including the Jaish-E-Mohammad Fort
Previously, the Prime Minister gave the armed forces full of operational freedom to decide on the goals, manner and timing of the action against terror as a result of an attack by Pahalgam, in which 26 civilians were killed.
