
One terrorist Jaish-E-Mohammad was killed in a joint operation of the Indian Army and the Police Jammu and Kashmir, the officials said on Thursday.
In the paper on X, 16 Corpos Indian Army, he said he neutralized one terrorist Jem in Basantgarh in the Udhampur district in Jammu and Kashmir on Thursday.
The operation is still ongoing, he said.

On Thursday, a meeting broke out between terrorists and security forces in the Basantgarh area in the Udhampur district in Jammu and Kashmir, the officials said.
Security forces launched a common operation under the name Operation Bihali, which has been going on since the morning.
The Bihali operation was launched on the basis of intelligence entry against the JEM terrorists who were monitored for a year, the officials said.
“OP BIHALI. Based on specific news, a joint operation of the Indian army and the Police of Jammu Kashmir in Basantgarh was launched. The contact was established with #terrorists. The operation is currently underway,” the Indian army said in position X.
Previously, officials said that terrorists were imprisoned in a wooded area of the distant area of Bihali.
“The contact was established with terrorists around 8.30 in the morning … They are considered four and we have watched (this group) for the last year,” said the General Police Inspector, Bhim Sen Tuti told reporters about the side line of Jammu.
