On Friday morning as part of the “Operation Abyaas”, an emergency evacuation drill was carried out at the Telangana High Court. The drill started at 9:30 am and simulated an emergency scenario to test the readiness of the court to evacuate employees and visitors.
Fire alarms were triggered and evacuation protocols were quickly activated as part of a coordinated exercise. The TELANGANA fire staff, emergency, reaction to disasters and civil defense department led the operation in cooperation with the Administration of the High Court. Teams from the state police force (SPF), medical staff, electric wards and firefighters together ensured smooth and effective evacuation.
The employees and visitors of the court were systematically led from the premises and presented coordination between departments. Firefighters remained in standby to handle any potential danger during exercise.
Among the main officials present were the registrar (leadership) V. Ramesh, commander of SPF Anwar Pasha, district fireman T. Ornanna, assistant commander Babu Reddy and Srinivas and auxiliary district fireman V. Bhan Pratap.
The CEO of Fire Services Y. Nagi Reddy, praised the efforts of the fire station staff, court staff and all support departments involved in the exercises.
