
A new study of the Holička law firms has revealed countries where selfies are the most dangerous. Scientists have followed selfie accidents around the world from March 2014 to May 2025 using news reports on Google.

Other countries in the Top 10 list include Indonesia (14), Kenya (13), Great Britain (13), Spain (13) and Brazil (13).
“Our research emphasizes a worrying trend where the efforts to validate social media are literally worth life. Perfect photographs are simply not worth the danger,” said the founder of Barber Kris Barber.
“In particular, most of these tragedies could be prevented by taking a few steps back or finding a safer advantageous point,” Barber added.
