BJP is not against Muslims and has no objection to providing reservations on educational and work opportunities. However, the provision of political reservations is damaged by reverse classes (BCS), while 4% of the reservation that is currently being given to Muslims is also under legal control in courts, said TELANGANA BJP N. Ramchander Rao on Thursday.
“We are against the 10% Muslim booking that Congress is proposing,” he said, stressed that in the last GHMC elections, 50 divisions have been reserved for the BC, but the candidates – who are Muslims – received 35 of these seats.
“That was a serious injustice for the BC community,” he said, addressed the cadre and leader at several meetings during his ongoing District Tour Yangoan.
He demanded that the Congress Government approve the bill on booking in the Assembly and immediately issued a notice for local elections in bodies and ensured 42% of the BCS reservation. The Delhi Congress protest was a complete flop with any of the best leaders, including Rahul Gandhi, Sonia Gandhi or Gandhi’s Priyanka.
“Main Minister A. Revanth Reddy himself admitted that the quota would only be carried out if Rahul Gandhi became Prime Minister – which will not happen,” he said, saying that the protest in Dilli is not really about BCS rights, but was focused on promoting Muslim quotas.
Mr. Rao also criticized the government of the Congress of the Treatment of the Musi River, which, according to him, seriously influenced farmers in Bonggir. He remembered that Mr. Revant Reddy promised to clean the river during his birthday visit to the Yadadri temple, but since then he forgot his commitment – a formula that he described as typical for Congress.
BJP chief also accused the government of “avoiding” the transmission of the Kaleshwaam project and other BRS CBI fraud. “If the Congress had indeed integrity, it would cancel the CBI input – issued during the BRS mode. Then the CBI could restore abused resources in the case of Kaleshwaam and put them in the treasury.
