It seems that a very specified large-scale transmission of Gazette and unarated officers from the South Central Railway (SCR) based in Secunderabad on the newly created South Coast Railway (SCOR) in Visakhapatnam is largely unfounded with limited number of employees who are expected to move.
The recent Railway Council’s circle explained that the proposal for the transfer of 959 jobs-three-year-olds by a third of SCR SCRENUNUNURABAD-NEBUDE employees. The decision follows from the fact that 700 of these uninhabited posts are already unoccupied, so extensive dislocation is unlikely.
Although the SCR will be divided in terms of infrastructure, assets and workload, the Railway Board has reduced the total power of Scoro employees to approximately 1,100.
Of the 129 sanctioned jobs for Scoro, about 82 are expected to be transferred from SCR and, according to the ancient, omitted around 152 staff from its penalty 234. In principle, the existing cadre in ECOR and SCR will be redistributed between three zones, including Scor.
The Railway Council approved the recommendations listed in a detailed project report (DPR) for Scor, which advocates the use of digital platforms, such as e-of-mail, so that it can effectively manage operations rather than create new posts.
SCR has a sanctioned employee power of 2,900, with 2,209 currently on roles. For comparison, Ecor, which loses 13% of its Jurisdiction Scor, has 2,272 employees against a sanctioned force of 3,074. When creating Scor, uninhabited contributions will be reduced to 1,941 out of 2,900 in SCR and 2,874 out of 3,074 in Ecor.
Employees will be invited from the whole Indian railway for a new zone, but the priority for the headquarters of the Scor will first be provided to existing employees in Visakhapatnam, followed by SCR staff, then Ecor staff and finally from other rail zones.
Secunderabad’s Zonal Training College will continue to satisfy the needs of Scor until the existing training center is upgraded in Vijayawada. The Commissioner for Railway Safety in Secunderabad will continue to be in charge of Scor.
