One person was killed and five others were injured in land landslides on the Kedarnath National Highway in the RudraPrayag district in Uttarakhand on Friday, May 30, 2025).
This happened after a vehicle transporting devoted from Chhattisgarh was hit by a landslide near the pussy near Guptkashi.
Teams of the administration and railway station for disasters (SDRF) achieved space on receiving information about the incident and launched rescue and auxiliary operations, the officials said.
The injuries were removed from the vehicle and accepted to the nearby Augustmuni hospital, they said.
Two people were seriously injured, while three others suffered minor injuries.
The deceased was identified as a driver of Rajesh Singh Rawat (38), Lambgaon residents in the TEHRI Garhwal district in Uttarakhand.
It carries pilgrims from Chhattisgarh to visit Kedarnath.
The wounded, aged 19 and 25, are the inhabitants of the Durg district in Chhattisgarh.
