On Sunday, the Ayiroor police arrested a 44 -year -old man for alleged sexual abuse of her niece, which was found to be pregnant.
The incident came out after a fourteen -year -old surviving girl complained of severe stomach pain, leading to the discovery of her pregnancy. The accused, identified as a girl’s mother’s uncle, stayed with his family for the last five months after the alienation from his wife.
He is suspected that he has repeatedly sexually attacked his niece, mostly after returning from school when no other family members were present. He also allegedly threatened her terrible consequences if she revealed abuse to anyone.
