A 72 -year -old woman died and more than 20 people suffered injuries in a traffic accident concerning the Kerala State Road Transport Corporation, a car and picking up in a Karaváta near Haripad on Monday (May 19, 2025).
The deceased was identified as Saraswathi Amma, the Poonthopp in the Alappuzha. She traveled in a car with her daughter Sreekala, a brother -in -law Rajagopalan and their two children, including a seven -month -old child, when the accident occurred around 8 am, the family was on the way to Mannarrasal Temple.
The state of Mr. Rajagopalan is reportedly serious. The injuries include bus passengers and the driver’s van driver.
