The person died and another suffered serious injuries after the two -round wheels they rode about, hit a pile of land thrown on the road in Holenarasipur the city of Hassan District in the early Saturday hours.
The deceased was identified as Dhanoj, 26, from Krishnapura in Holenarasipur Taluk. His friend Sumanth of Lakkur suffered an injury. Dhanoj and Sumanth were on their way to Holenarasipur, because he was supposed to travel to Bengalur by bus.
Both fell into a newly built outflow after the vehicle hit a pile of land in the middle of the Hassan-Massur road. Dhanoj immediately died because of a serious head injury. Sumanth undergoes treatment at the Hassan government hospital.
Dhanoj’s father Jagadish claimed in his complaint to the Municipal Police Holenarasipur that the cause of the accident was unscientific road work without the location of the notice shields.
