
A 53 -year -old man appeared in court after a serious incident on the Trophy Parade Liverpool FC, where the car was blown into the crowd of fans.
Paul Doyle of West Derby in Liverpool faces seven fees associated with an accident held on Monday, May 26, when thousands celebrated the victory of the Premier League football club.
Doyle stood in the Liverpool Crown Court on Friday (May 30) and confirmed his name and date of birth. He gave no hint of requests.
He was accused of two number of illegal and harmful injuries with the intention, two numbers causing severe bodily harm with the intention, two number of attempts to serious bodily harm and one number of dangerous driving. The fees relate to six victims, including two children. One charge of injuries and one attempt at a serious health health charge specifically relates to the child.
Judge Andrew Menary KC, a recorder of Liverpool, set a provisional date of court proceedings on November 24. The trial is expected to take three to four weeks. Doyle was in custody in custody until the next hearing of 14th August.
