
Star India Batter Virat Kohli sent social media to a collapse when he announced his retirement from the test cricket on Monday 12th May. There were news that he had hung his shoes before the upcoming tour of England. However, India previously said that BCCI (Council for cricket control in India) tried to force him to decide back.
Looks like the Council was unsuccessful to re -evaluate the dough as a decision as Finally he decided to call his time in the format. Kohli debuted against West India in 2011 and finished his career after playing 123 tests. In his career he scored 9230 runs on average 46.85 with 30 centuries and 31.
Kohli has lasted the wrong form since 2020, scored only 2028 runs out of 39 matches (69 shifts) on average 30.72 with three hundred and nine fifty names. Since 2024, 440 runs on its name of 11 matches (21 shifts) have an average of 23.15 s one hundred and one fifty to his name.
Due to the prolonged bad form, its diameter of the test has also been massive intervention and currently fell from 54.97 in 2019 to 46.85. His last testing century came against Australia during the first test of the Gavascar Trophy 2024-15 in Perth, where he scored undefeated 100 in the winning matter.
