Shikhar Dhawan claimed that he would not be part of the potential semifinals of India vs Pakistan at the World Championship in the legends after boycotting the league match between the arches. Dhawan, along with Harbhajan Singh, brothers Pathan and Suresh Raina, decided not to participate in the game after the resistance they received on the social media.
This was supposed to be the first cricket event between India and Pakistan since the Sindoor operation. Eventually the whole match was canceled. Shikhar, who spoke to the tournament dormitory, was interrogated by the reporter if he would play against Pakistan if both teams got into the semifinals.
The former Opener of India was not satisfied with the question and said there was a bad place about it. Shikhar also told the reporter that he should not ask this question and said his attitude would not change, regardless of India would reach the semifinals.
“Brother, right now you ask this question in the wrong place. If you ask, do you think I will answer? You should not ask this question. And if I did not play before, then I will still not play,” Shikhar Dhawan said.

India is currently at the bottom of the WCL table because it has lost two matches and has one point. Pakistan is sitting at the top of the table at the moment and are undefeated by two victories and five points in their name. India is facing a battle uphill because they will have to defeat England and Western India to get into the semifinals, and will also look at some of the results in their favor.
