Congress seemed to seek refuge in political symbolism and rhetoric to deny the government of the left democratic front (LDF) “credit” for the international port of Vishinjam.
Even when Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived at Vishinjam on Friday to officially commission the port leader, the leaders of the congress in district centers across the state to Lionise Late Minister Oommen Chanda as the MEGA Infrastructure project, which advantageously placed Kerala on the global trade.
Congress legislator M. Vincent paid flower honors in Chandy’s tomb in Puthupally, Kottayam before returning to Vishinjam to take part in the commission.
In Kozhikode, United Democratic Front (UDF) MM Hassan claimed that the Communist Party of India (Marxista) (CPI (M)) and Bharatiya Janata (BJP) were conspired to make Vishinjam port reality.
Mr. Hassan said that the center and state governments were deliberately pushed by the leader of the opposition of OD Satheesan from the venue of commissioning.
At the same time, he stated that both administrations showed no hesitation in a violation of the protocol to seek the state president of BJP Rajiv Chandrasekhar, who does not hold any constitutional or elected office on the stage.
In the Facebook post, Mr. Satheesan identified a harmful offer to erase Chandy’s posts from the public mind. But he said that such machinations would not get. “Such forces were also afraid of the memories of Oommen Chanda,” he said.
He said CPI (m) tried to kill the Vishinjam project when it was in his embryonic stage. Chanddy tolerated street protests and accusations of corruption. The late main minister cleared the project by the then minister of the environment for the environment and forests, Jairam Malesh to sanction it.
In Nový Deli, the Secretary -General of India (AIC) (Organization), KC Venugopal, said CPI (M) -bjp Bonhomie was obvious in the introduction of the port. “When he saw his closest friend, Pinarayi Vijayan, the Prime Minister broke the protocol to politically focus on Rahul Gandhi for revealing modi-advani Nexus,” he said.
The State Secretary of the CPI (M) MV Govindan said that Chanddy only signed Keral’s substantial investment, including land, a private entity with a profit at the expense of the public cash register.
He said the LDF government revised the original agreement and leaned the scale in favor of the state. It accelerated the work of the port of Vishinjam, operated the international anchoring of the translation and set 2028 as a deadline for completing expansion. “Vishinjam is a testimony to the political will of LDF and an unshakable commitment to the development and well -being of Keraly,” he added.
