
The Chief Minister of Pinaraya Vijayan convenes on Monday to discuss the procedure to be admitted to the disputed country in Munambam based on the recommendation of the CN Ramacandran Nair, sectors and law law P. Rajeeve on Saturday in Kochi.
Delegation of local residents led by Fr. Antony Xavier Tharyil met the Minister in Kalamassery and thanked the state government, the minister said.
On Friday, the High Court in Kerala decided that the disputed land in Munambam was not the property of WAQF, but the gift of Mohammed Siddique Sait in favor of Farooq College management. The state government appointed a commission for finding a permanent solution to this matter.
The High Court also ruled that the government was entitled to make recommendations of the Commission, Rajeeve said.
