The High Court in Kerala stated that on Monday 22nd September it would raise the temporary suspension on the toll collection on the toll Paliyekkar in Thrissur along the National Motorway-544.
By quiting the Periodic Inspectorate in the Edapally-Mannhy NH-544 corridor, the divisional benches of justice A. Muhamed Mustaque and the justice Harisankar V. Menon said they would specify the conditions that would have to be followed to ensure smooth and safe commuting along the busy highway.
The Court suspended the collection of tolls 6th August as a result of petitions concerning massive operation in the Nhai corridor due to insufficient and shabby maintenance roads for diversion/service, especially near the underpass and spilled jobs. The situation deteriorated when it took about 12 hours at the beginning of August.
