Old wine in a new bottle, says AP Congress president YS Sharmila

Andhra Pradesh Congress president YS Sharmila on Saturday (February 14) described the state budget 2026-27 as “old wine in a new bottle”.

“The coalition government’s budget is full of unrealistic projections and inflated figures and an increased debt burden,” she wrote on ‘X’.

Ms. Sharmila said that though the election promises were extensive, the budgetary allocations were low and inadequate. She accused the government of ignoring the “Super Six” promises and other key election assurances, proving once again that this is not a welfare-oriented government, she said.
