If you were wondering what to do with your old clothes, don’t look. You can get up, learn the basics of sewing and design and create something completely new from them. Or sell even better these “pre -” “items at a premium price.
Charity confidence in Ernakulam Mithrakulam came up with an educational program. “We need groups of at least 10 people for the program. We will train them in their place in designing and creating unique products from old clothing,” says Anil Jose, administration of Trust. The fee will be collected for the program. The team will also help sell products to develop a group.
If clothing cannot be UPCYCLED, they will be converted into other utilitarian objects, including bags, bags, mats, aprons, bed covers, sofa, mobile holders and even animal clothing.
The confidence signed a memorandum of understanding (MY) with the Ministry of Social Work on Sacred Heart College, Thevar to set up a drop where students can donate their old clothes. In the second phase, UPCYCLING classes will be organized for those interested.
