Stake, 1xbet, 1Win, Teen Patti 979 and color prediction applications have emerged as the most common platforms. Users said they are focused on social media ads, promotion of influencers, whatsApp and calls, showing the depth of the digital range of these operators deployment.
The user base is mostly young, male and digitally subtle. Approximately 62%is under 30 years and while men dominate 78%, women are significant 22%. Activity decreases across income groups, with 60% of households earning below 30,000 GBP per month.
Despite frequent losses – 99% lost money – most respondents still believe they are net profits. “The average monthly expenditure between 500-5 000 GBP may seem smaller, but over time they add significantly, especially for low-income users,” the report said.
Interestingly, while awareness of the ban is almost universal, 94% of respondents want to be legalized and regulated in the state and regulate platforms for real money.
President Prague Abhay Raj Mishhr said that the findings illustrate politics. “What was considered to be bold preventive measures in 2017 was drafted by domestic operators and inviting offshore syndicates to control the market. The result is a prosperous gray economy that undermines national security and digital sovereignty,” he said.
