Chairman of the Twenty Point Program Implementation Committee Lanka Dinakar on Saturday (February 7, 2026) asked the officials to ensure wide publicity to the welfare schemes implemented by the Union and state governments.
Mr. Dinakar along with Minister for MSME Kondapalli Srinivas, TDP MP Kalisetti Appala Naidu, Collector S. Ramsundar Reddy and Joint Collector S. Sedhu Madhavan reviewed the ongoing development activities in Vizianagaram district on Saturday. Speaking on the occasion, he said that the per capita income will increase with the improvement in economic activity in the state.
He singled out the “Viksit Bharat – Guarantee for Rozgar and Aajeevika Mission (Gramin)” scheme —VB-G Ram G— as expanding livelihood options for villagers by using several modifications made in the previous MGNREGA scheme. He said employment was guaranteed for 125 days under the new system and hoped more workers in the district would benefit from the new system.
“The objectives of Vikasit Bharat and Swarna Andhra had to be achieved by the administration by implementing all social welfare programs and development activities in letter and spirit. Officials must focus on Jal Jeevan Mission, PM Surya Ghar, National Health Mission and other programmes,” said Mr. Dinakar. He asked the officials to emphasize on effective implementation of Talliki Vandanam, Samagra Siksha and other schemes.
