The Chittoor district administration was carried out on Wednesday by a gram of Sabha in the village of ST in Colony of Dealampheta, Jagamarla Panchayat of Palamner Mandal. They interact with the villagers about the implementation of Dharti Aaba Janjatiya gram Utkarsh Abhiyan (Da-Jgua), initiatives at the national level launched by the Ministry of the Union on October 2, 2024.
The program was attended by the district tribe and the authorization of S. Murtha, Deputy Director of the Ministry of the groundwater Govardhan Reddy, along with the higher officials of the Skill Development and Fishing Department. They emphasized the need for coordination between departments to ensure that all government social security systems immediately reach the tribal areas.
The St Colony Dealampta, with a total of 194 households, 110 of which is tribal, was selected as part of the Da-Jgua initiative to ensure the focused and sustainable development of the countryside. The aim of this initiative is to offer access to health, education, basic infrastructure and opportunities for the livelihood for the tribal population. Mr. Murty urged Drda, Education, Health, Women and Child Care, Panchayat Raj, rural water supply, electricity, agriculture, telecommunications and employment to often make field visits and repair problem areas.
Meanwhile, the villagers brought announcements on the key issues of officials faced, such as a lack of safe drinking water, absence of drainage system, lack of anganwadis, Aadhaar cards and inability to get banking loans to buy cattle and sheep.
The officials reported the residents that the district authorities were submitted a detailed report on the project (DPR) for water and drainage work, while the Mini Anganwadi Center has already been sanctioned.
