On Saturday after the recent observations Leopard in Chalakudy, an emergency meeting of the Minister of Income K. Rajan and Sanish Kumar Joseph, Mla, was convened. The Minister ordered forest department officials to deploy thermal drones to watch the animal and build more traps along its suspicious paths.
Mr. Joseph asked officials to intensify the search by deploying more officials in areas where the leopard was seen. The Minister also ordered forest officials to prepare the action plan for the location of the tiger and immediately submitted it to the district collector.
The meeting recommended to install other CCTV cameras on Monday and organize a search operation with public support. The Minister proposed to involve the RRT (RRT) team if necessary.
A 24 -hour control room was set up in Chalakuda, urging the public to report any tigers observation to 9188407529.
