NTR District Collector appeals to the public to send their wards to the Govt. schools

The NTR district administration is focused on imparting high quality education in government schools, said Collector G. Lakshmisha and urged the public to send their wards to government schools.
Inaugurating the Government School Education Exhibition organized by the District Education Department at the Collectorate on Thursday, Mr. Lakshmisha pointed out that government schools are now functioning at par with private ones and plans have been formulated to ensure even better results.
Addressing the media, the Collector said that through modern teaching methods, improved infrastructure and skill development programmes, government schools are being strengthened to compete effectively with private schools.
The Collector said that teachers and officials of the education department are working together to ensure overall development of students, improve educational standards and achieve better academic results. He said the exhibition is being organized to showcase the educational opportunities, facilities and achievements of students available in government schools.
Referring to the previous year’s Class X examination results, the Collector noted that 31 students from government high schools in the district scored more than 580 marks.
District Supervisor L. Chandrakala, Additional Project Coordinator R. Ramesh Babu, Mandal Education staff and students participated in the fair.
