
New Delhi: National Thermal Power Corporation (NTPC) LTD has signed an agreement with sustainable energy for all (Seforall) on the development of its travel transition to energy.
The joint statement stated that by agreement, Seford will support the development of the comprehensive NTPC travel map in accordance with energy security, priorities of development and pure zero obligations.
Sustaphable Energy for all (Seforall) is an international organization working with UN, governments, private sectors, financial institutions and civil societies to lead to the goal of sustainable development 7, which requires a universal approach to sustainable energy by 2030.

The plan will include modeling of multiple scenarios reflecting short-term and long-term NTPC strategic horizons, an estimate of investment needs, identifying opportunities for diversification and socio-economic advantages that come with the transition to cleaner energy systems.
“The focus on reducing emissions in the energy sector, the largest Indian energy company NTPC, has signed an agreement with sustainable energy for all (Seford) to support their transition to clean energy,” the statement said.
NTPC is already present in the energy transition space, including its subsidiary Green Energy NTPC Green Energy Ltd (Ngel). It is present in research and development and extensive deployment of pilot projects of green hydrogen, floating solar photovoltaic systems, battery energy storage systems, pumped storage water energy and carbon.

Through NGEL, NTPC plans to install 60 GW of renewable energy by 2032.
