The civic body of the city will announce 3,75 Lakh taxes from the property, said the Chief Civic Commissioner M. Maleshwar Rao on Monday. These defaulters have tax non -finishes totaling around 700 crore – 800 crore, he said.
These defaulters will soon be delivered via SMS AE -mails, Rao said. “If real estate owners have already paid the tax, they can ignore these messages. But if it is a defaulter and have not paid the tax, they should pay it immediately,” he said. He ordered civil servants to take strict steps to obtain tax fees from these defaulters.
These include non-real estate taxes for 2024-25 and those who have not even used a one-time settlement (OTS) of the established Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagar Palike (BBMP) in 2024, the sources said.

Then the BBMP attached more than 81,000 properties in 2024-25, the highest in the city, and in February 2025 introduced hundreds of such real estate for auction.
