On Friday (July 4, 2025), the Theangana High Court issued a notice to the Pil of Pil of Officials Failure to enforce the provisions of land reforms in Telangana (ceiling for agriculture) Act 1973.
The bench of the reigning chief judge Sujoy Paul and the judiciary Renuka Yar ordered the state government to give their response within four weeks for the problems raised in the lawsuits.
President of Singur Jalasadhan (Alladurg of Medak) Kanchari Brahmam wrote a letter to the High Court, stating that some individuals are floating companies and buy land on a large scale. These enormous agricultural masses of land have been maintained idle and defeated their purpose for agricultural production or growing crops for food production.
The special act should have checked such soil abuse, but the authorities did not concern this matter. The High Court transferred a letter to the action and issued a notice to the government.
