India’s top soldier Ajit Agarkar explained that on Tuesday, August 19, the justification of Yashasvi Jaiswal and Shreyas Iyer, which disappeared on the Indian group Asia Cup.
Jaiswal, who excelled in tests with more than 2,000 runs and scored 723 runs at 23 T20is, lost instead of Abhishek Sharma. ABHISHEK CHALLY was an excellent touch this year and assembled 279 T20i in a blow of 219.68, with the highest score of 135. Its ability to provide the possibility of rotating the left arm further strengthened its case in subcontinental conditions.
Shreyas Iyer also enjoyed the remarkable IPL 2025 campaign, which scored 604 runs in 17 matches on average 50.03 and strike 175.07, highlighted 97 not out. Despite his form and leadership, he missed a comeback. Agarkar explained that the omission was neither the mistake of players nor the selectors.

“As far as Yashasvi is concerned, it is unfortunate again. Abhishek Sharma has been excellent with the team in the last few months, and we also give us the possibility of bowling. One of them has always been missing, and unfortunately, Yashsvi has to wait for his chances,” Agarkar told reporters of the press conference.
“As far as Shreyas is concerned, it is unfortunate again. You will tell me who he can replace in this group. It’s not his fault or ours – it’s just that only 15 can be selected and at the moment he has to wait for his chances,” Agarkar added.
India is scheduled to start the Asia Cup 2025 campaign on September and face the hosts of the United Arab Emirates (SAE) at the International Cricket Stadium in Dubai. As champions champions, India is trying to start their defense at the T20i tournament, which runs from 9 to 28 September in UAE.
