
Royal Challengers Bengaluru created an unwanted IPL record on Friday after Gujarat Titans batsman Sai Sudharsan scored a century against them at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in an IPL 2026 match.With Sudharsan’s hundred, RCB became the team to concede the most individual centuries in IPL history.Most individual centuries scored by a team in the IPL:

Sudharsan returned to form with a 57-ball century, his third in the IPL and his first of the 2026 season. Opening the innings with skipper Shubman Gill, he put on a 128-run stand for the first wicket after RCB opted to bat first.

With this knock, he took his total of over 2,000 runs.Batting first, Gujarat Titans finished on 205/5 in 20 overs with the RCB bowlers better able to control things in the death overs after Sudharsan’s hundred.Earlier, Royal Challengers Bengaluru captain Rajat Patidar won the toss and opted to bowl against Gujarat Titans in the IPL clash on Friday.England batsman Jacob Bethell is set for his first match of the season after being picked in place of the injured Phil Salt in the only change to the line-up for RCB.Shubman Gil-led GT made a few changes and gave debut to Windies bowling all-rounder, Jason Holder, while Manav Suthar also returned to the XI.
