Then look at work ethics. You look at the characters in the dressing room, especially in the cricket of the red ball,” Gambhir told reporters.

“You look at what they will bring to the table except the number of runs and the goals they have.Last year, the Indian team has passed through all the formats under Gambhir coaching.Gambhir also pointed out that the international cricket is a “uncertain environment” and therefore believes that it gives players a longer run.“For me, it is very, very important for me for a long time, because, as we all know, an international cricket is a very uncertain environment – only 15 players can represent the country and awaits their opportunity.“So make sure you choose the right characters first, and then, if you see it, try to give them a longer run to make them feel happy and happy that they had enough chances than just chop and change.”Gambhir personally does not like the term “fall” and admits that he feels emotional whenever he deserved a deserved player on the national team.
