Neeraj secured victory with his first attempt of 88.16 m, because it was enough to maintain the challenge of Julian Weber in the bay. Weber got a better of Neera in Doha, where the Indian ace finally broke his 90 meters Jinx, and then in memory of Janusz Kusocinski in Poland last month. This was Neeraj’s first victory at the Diamond League event after Lausanne 2023 and its fifth overall, which also includes the last victory in Zurich in 2022.
