The Dilli Airport Authorities said on Sunday (May 11, 2025) that the operations are normal, but some flights and processing time at safety checkpoints may be affected because of changing air space dynamics and increased safety protocols.

Increased safety measures, which have been introduced due to the tension between India and Pakistan, are still introduced at the airports.

On Saturday, India and Pakistan achieved understanding to stop all fire and military actions on the attic, air and sea with immediate effect.
“Operations of Delhi Airport continue as usual. However, due to changing air space dynamics and increased safety protocols, some flight plans and processing times at safety checkpoints can be affected,” he said in post X.
The dial operates the International Indira Gandhi National City (Igia) – the busiest airport in the country.
Dial also recommended passengers to allow more time for security checks for increased measures and cooperation with the airline and security staff for smooth facilitating.
The airport usually processes about 1300 flight movements a day.
