FC manager Barcelona Hansi Flick said his team was focusing on heights this season. When Flick spoke after a heroic team where he yelled back to catch a breathtaking 3-2 victory against Real Madrid, Flick said it was a perfect night for the team.
The German coach said his players should not stick to the 32nd celebration.
“It was just a perfect night,” Flick said at a press conference on Sunday morning.
“I am very proud. It is amazing for me what they are doing, how they fight. I really appreciate what they do, they never give up. I think everyone, the club, fans, are proud of this team.
“You want to win a title in a game like Clasico against Real Madrid is always strange. I’m happy for my players and for thousands of fans who were in the stalls; they deserved this title.
“Now we have to celebrate and then the goal must be to recover, recover and recover. Height is a possibility, but we have to continue working.”
This was the third subsequent victory in Barcelona against Real Madrid this season. In October, they defeated Real 4-0 in Santiago Bernabeu in Lalize in October and 5-2 in the Spanish final of the Super Cup in Saudi Arabia in January, before Saturday’s victory.
