FC manager Barcelona Hansi Flick said his team was focusing on heights this season. When Flick spoke after a heroic team where he yelled back to catch a breathtaking 3-2 victory against Real Madrid, Flick said it was a perfect night for the team.
The German coach said his players should not stick to the 32nd celebration.
“It was just a perfect night,” Flick said at a press conference on Sunday morning.
“I am very proud. It is amazing for me what they are doing, how they fight. I really appreciate what they do, they never give up. I think everyone, the club, fans, are proud of this team.
“You want to win a title in a game like Clasico against Real Madrid is always strange. I’m happy for my players and for thousands of fans who were in the stalls; they deserved this title.
“Now we have to celebrate and then the goal must be to recover, recover and recover. Height is a possibility, but we have to continue working.”
This was the third subsequent victory in Barcelona against Real Madrid this season. In October, they defeated Real 4-0 in Santiago Bernabeu in Lalize in October and 5-2 in the Spanish final of the Super Cup in Saudi Arabia in January, before Saturday’s victory.
Blaugrany has been undefeated in the home competition since the end of December, playing some of the best footballs in Europe this season and are in the driver’s seat to win the title of the Spanish League.
Barca Top Laliga at 76 points, four before Real, and after the middle match of the Champions League against Inter, they will face Valladolid for the last time before hosting Real in the collision of Laliga, who could decide on the League title 11th May.
Flick attributed the success of his party’s attitude and how they concentrated, and said that the sky was a limit when it holds their feet on the ground.
“At the beginning of the season, I said I was here, with my assistants to create a good atmosphere in the dressing room,” Flick said.
“I wanted to show them that they could enjoy the game and that they could play at the highest level. I think creating this atmosphere in the dressing room is important and key.
“It gives a lot of self -confidence. It is a question of all. Employees, players … have a fantastic mentality. If you look at how they returned in the game, the ability to think positively,” the manager concluded.
