Slow progress
The decision to appoint nodes was taken with regard to slow progress in the establishment of 2,000 kPs in the state.
Previously, the Deputy Minister DK Shivakumar expressed his disaster about slow progress in the construction of KPS in the state and the diverting funds to NGOs in other countries. During the meeting, the representatives of the Commissioners and CEOs of Zilla Panchayat pulled out to review KPSS progress.
“The state’s Funds CSR on the melody of 8,000 crore are available. He said.
“Branding” school
“Companies do not have to give the government any funds, can build a school and hand it over to the government. The government can even provide land and buildings. Companies can even mark schools in their name,” he said.
“In my constituency we build 13 KPS CSR and each of these schools stands anywhere between Crore 9 Crore and 12 GBP. Working in schools only goes well in some regions, while other regions are negligence,” he said.
Mr. Shivakumar urged the district administration to write letters to businesses in its districts and organize an appointment to discuss the construction of schools by CSR. “Set the goal to build one public school model in each taluk and set one school for three gram Panchayats on the basis of this feedback,” Zilla Panchayat told representatives and CEOs.
“I ordered representatives of Commissioner Bengalur and CEO Zill Panchayat to call for a meeting of all businesses in his jurisdiction and discuss the allocation of CSR funds. Similarly, the district administration must organize meetings with corporations,” he said.
