On Tuesday (September 16), the Theangana High Court ordered the State Government not to start any unfavorable measure on the basis of a report on the justice report of PC Ghos Commission against IAS SK officer until October 7.
The bench of the main judge Aparesh Kumar Singh and the justice GM Mohiuddin went through in this interim direction after hearing a written petition filed by a pension official who was looking for a suspension of the Commission report. The petitioner worked as the main secretary of irrigation and development of command during the Stint government of Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS), which carried out the project of irrigation of Kaleshwaram.
Previously, the bench also ordered the government not to start any coercive actions against the former main minister and BRS Supremo K. ChanadraShekhar Rao and T. Harish Rao, who served as a minister of irrigation and finance in the former cabinet after hearing their independent lawsuits. Former IAS officer claimed that the Commission had not fulfilled the compulsory notifications according to sections 8a and 8b commissions of the 1952 Act.
His attorney stated that the Commission had accused the former Supreme Officer of placing an incorrect role according to approval and participation in financial and technical decisions in violations of business rules. The general advocate A. Sudarshan Reddy reported the bench that the government has already asked the CBI to explore the abuse of Crores Rupees in the construction of Barik.
CBI would explore these angles on the basis of reports of the National Authority for the Security of dams and other central agencies. AG stated that no unfavorable measures will be taken against the petitioner on the basis of the Commission report.
