
The High Court in Kerala searched all files related to the alleged permission granted Travancore Devaswom Board (TDB) to a private person to install the Ayyapp id at Sabarimala Temple.

The bench started the proceedings based on a report given by R. Jayakrishhnan, a special commissioner of Sabarimal, who noted that TDB allowed the chairman of the Multi-specificity of the Erode Hospital and installed Idol Ayyyapp made from Panchalham, from five expensive meta.
The report also acknowledged the distribution of brochures carrying the bank account number, QR code and mobile numbers, which states that there should have been installed two feet high idol weighing 108 kg and costs 9 lakh. The Fundraising campaign also began the strength of the “permission” of TDB granted and gave the impression that he was entitled to do so by the TDB and the state government, the report is said.
Sabarimala Tantri informed a special commissioner that he did not know about the alleged attempt to install an idol against the temple rituals. The special commissioner was looking for the intervention of the court on the question and strict instructions to stop such practices in the temple.
TDB submitted before court that the chairman of the hospital had not been granted any permission to install any idol in the temple space. He also claimed permission to collect money from the public.
The court ordered the TDB to issue the Council on the virtual platform Q that no one could install the idol of Ayyapp to worship in the temple or to collect money from the public for this purpose. The case was listed for hearing on Friday.
