Indian shutter Satwiksairaj Randireddy said that he and Chirag Shetty are not covered by any long -term goals at the moment and focus on staying fit for the World Championship next month. Satwik and Chirag achieved three semifinals this season as well as the quarterfinals in the Open Indonesia last month.
After entering the last four phases of Malaysia Open and India Open in January, the Indian duo found itself for several weeks for several weeks Satwik’s health concerns and the persistent injury of Chirag. They returned to the semifinal perimeter on the Singapore Open and the quarterfinals in Indonesia.
Former Couple No. 1 started the Japan Open Super 750 campaign Kangua min Hyuk and Kim won it with a score of 21-18, 21-10. Satwik, after victory, quoted PTI, said the duo had faced injury problems in the last year. However, he said that they are satisfied with the results despite their fitness struggle.
“For us, it is 100%. It’s always up and down. Once it’s better, I’ll have some niggly. Once I’m better, it has some niggly. So we didn’t play from the last year without injury. So we fought with Niggles,” Satwik said.
“Yet we can play several quality games. That’s a positive side. But right now is our goal to be without injury and be constantly healthy.”
Japan will follow China Open Super 1000 before the highest stars head to Paris at the World Championship, which will be held from 25 to 31 August. Satwik said it was an injury that had been backing them for some time and was happy that they were stopped after the opening of Singapore.
“Not to think so much ahead. No goals from nowhere. It is obvious that we want to do well, but at the same time we want to be healthy,” Satwik added.
“And as soon as we are healthy, I know we can do it. The only thing is that the injury keeps us and limits our game. But right now we both feel good because we had a break for Singapore. Both are really fit enough, so we’ll see how it goes.”
