The day after the video showed him that he had rebuked the IPS officer’s woman and asked her to stop a step against the illegal excavation in the land, the Deputy Minister Maharashtra (September 5, 2025) said he didn’t want to intervene but tried to drink a tense situation.
When the head of NCP got under fire over the incident, the police registered the case against several persons for allegedly defending IPS Anjana Krishn and other officials when they took steps against the illegal excavation “Murum” in the SOLAPUR district.

In a viral video that emerged on Thursday (September 4, 2025), Mr. Pawar was heard by the follow -up Mrs. Krishna on the phone.
“Let me clearly tell me that my intention was not to interfere with the right to enforce, but to ensure that the situation on Earth remains calm and on Friday, Pawar said on Friday.
It appreciates the rule of law and has the highest respect for the police and its officers, including the female officers to distinguish and courage, he said.
“I remain firmly determined by transparent administration and ensuring that any illegal activity, including sand mining, is strictly solved by law,” Pawar said.
Video, broadcast channels Marathi News, showed that Anjana Krishn, a sub-diameter police officer, Karmala, spoke with Pawar on the NCP’s local worker. At first she didn’t recognize his voice.
Mr. Parar then made a video call to the policeman and allegedly asked it to stop the action against an illegal excavation.
Murum soil is used in road construction.

Meanwhile, the first information report against Baba Jagtap, Nitin Mali, Santosh Kapri, Anna Dhane and 15 to 20 others were under Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhit Sections 132 (attacks or criminal force to discourage a civil servant before release), 189 (2).
The incident occurred 31.
The accused allegedly tried to defend the action, he added.
