The Center will evaluate the proposed irrigation project Banakaccharla in a fair manner according to existing standards and after consultation with all parties involved, said the Minister of the Union for the water sources of CR Patil on Wednesday.
He told his colleague Cabinet and Minister of Trade Union and Minister G. Kishan Reddy in his office in Shram Shakti Bhavan in New Delhi that no state will face any injustices.
Metro Phase II
Mr. Kishan Reddy also met the Minister of Trade Unions for Housing and Development of Manohar Lal Khattar and discussed the second phase of Hyderabad Metro Rail Phase Two.
Mr. Khattar said that the DPR was received after the integration of the center proposals and was in the evaluation. The center wants to support the project, he said in a press release.
Policy
Meanwhile, Nizamabad MP D. Aravind accused Congress and BRS of playing politics in the Banakacharla AP project, before local polls.
“This is a plan hatched by former Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao to clog Sentiment Telangana. Why can’t Main Minister A. Revant Reddy to discuss the problem with his AP counterpart N. Chandrababa Naid if there is any prosecution of the project,” he questioned.
The deputy wanted to know whether the government of Congress had any plans or funds for projects that use the water water Godavari, which AP plans to use with the proposed new project. It seems that the political gaming plan of the congress and BRS parties accuses the central government, although he has no idea of perceived complaints, he added.
