Makkal Needhi Maiam (MNM), led by actor Kamal Haasan, held an emergency management and executive council meeting at the party headquarters in Chennai to discuss various permutations and combinations, after seeking “double digit” seats from the DMK for the upcoming Tamil Nadu Assembly elections.
MNM sources said “no conclusive” decisions had been taken on whether the party should challenge the DMK’s “rising sun” symbol or its own “flashlight battery” symbol.
“We don’t know from how many seats we will fight. No decision has been taken on the symbol we have to fight for,” he said.
