
Minister for General Education V. Sivankutty denied any delay in distribution of part II school textbooks to students.
The Minister in response to UA Latheef, TV Ibrahim, Naejeeb Kanthapuram and Manjalamkuzhi Ali said on Wednesday on Wednesday that the State Council for Educational Research and Training (SCERT) published a schedule of teaching part II of new textbooks. “Accordingly, some textbooks must be taught from October Middle and others since November. In this respect, the instructions have been given to all teachers.
He noted that the Department of General Education did not receive any complaint about the delay in the distribution of textbooks from organizations of teachers, student organizations, parents or students.
The textbooks have been distributed to students in time in the last four years. Even new textbooks for classes I to X, which were introduced in phases for two years, were distributed in time, he said.
