
The results of the National scholarship (NMMS) for the academic year 2024–25, led by the Union’s government, were announced.
A total of 292 students from the Mysuru district were selected. Although the district was assigned 274 seats in this scheme, another 18 students were selected outside the assigned quota.
Students from classes 9 to 12 who are selected within this system will receive 12 000 GBP per year, directly attributed to their bank accounts.
Up to 78 students from Mysur of Rurals were selected, except 51 from Mysuru South and 42 from TASipura. The number of students selected in other talks and blocks includes Nanjangud (34); Hunsur (24); Mysuru North (22); 18 students from KR Nagar and HD Kote and five students from Periyapat.
Up to 98 students from Adarsha Vidyalayas were selected, while 20 Karnataka (KPS), 58 from government secondary schools and 45 from government higher primary schools were selected. As a result, 221 students (75.68%) of government schools and 71 students (24.31%) were according to official editions of assistance institutions.
Students who have been selected this year, as well as students who have already received NMM in previous years and continue their studies in classes 9 to 12 in the government or auxiliary institutions in 2025-26, can apply through the National Scholarship Portal.
Details such as bank account data can be obtained from NMMS nodes in the relevant authorities for units or from the heads of their educational institutions, released from the Director of the District Institute for Education and Training (Diet), Mysur.
