
NLC India Ltd. (NLCIL) has received National Accreditation Board for Testing and Calibration Laboratories (NABL) accreditation for its Center for Applied Research and Development (CARD) laboratories.
According to NLCIL, the renewed accreditation is valid until January 2030 and covers 115 test parameters across the disciplines of mechanical, chemical and biological testing. Accreditation involving CARD’s key laboratories includes air quality testing, water and wastewater quality testing, soil testing, microbiology, fuel quality testing and general analytical testing, among others.
ISO/IEC 17025:2017 accreditation ensures that CARD testing systems meet internationally recognized standards for laboratory management, reliability of results and traceability.
NLCIL said the accreditation enhances the company’s ability to support its mining, thermal and renewable energy sources through reliable in-house testing and research and development excellence.
