NLC India Limited organized Fit India Freedom Run 6.0 and walkathon as part of Vigilance Awareness Week in Neyveli on Friday.
Flagged off by NLCIL Chairperson and Managing Director Prasanna Kumar Motupalli, over 4,200 people participated in the Freedom Run. This year’s event was held under the theme ‘Swachchhta and Swasthya’ (Cleanliness and Health), which emphasizes the importance of maintaining a clean and healthy lifestyle.
In his speech, Mr. Motupalli emphasized that if NLCIL is to achieve its ambitious goal of tripling its capacity and ensuring a sevenfold increase in renewable energy, all stakeholders must embrace fitness as a way of life.
As part of Vigilance Awareness Week 2025, NLCIL also organized a walkathon to promote awareness on integrity and anti-corruption. The event reinforced the organization’s commitment to promote a corruption-free culture under the theme ‘Vigilance – Our Shared Responsibility’.
Over 2200 students from various schools along with employees, contract workers, Indcoserve workers and public participated in the 3 km long event.
