Telangana Rythu Mahotsavam in Nizamabad introduced the contribution of the congress party to the irrigation and agriculture sector and the assurance of adoption of improvement and dredging works of Nizamsagar and SRSP projects.
The event was approached by the Minister of N. Uttam Kumar Reddy, Minister of Agriculture Tummal Nagesware Rao, District Minister Jupaly Krishna Rao, President of TPCC Malesh Kumar Goud, former Minister Sudarshan Reddy, Government Advisor Mohammed Ali Shabbir Bhuparay, A Reddy, A Reddy, A Reddy, Ali Ali Ali Shabbir, Voice Reddy, and Reddy and Rrakesh Reddy and MLC Anjaneya Reddy.
Mr. Uttam Kumar Reddy explained how the government was fully equipped for the ongoing Rabi 2024–25 orders, with all the necessary infrastructure, including Gunny bags, Tarpaulin’s coverage, caliper, dryers and public procurement centers.
He said Telangana was on the way to record the highest unpeeled public procurement in the country with the aim of Rabi 70.13 Lakh metric tons. Combined with 153.5 LMT in the Kharif season, the total annual production of unpeeled for 2024–25 reaches 281 LMT – will make Telangana the largest producer in India.
Mr. Malesh Goud urged the government to take over the improved and dredging works of Nizamsagar and SRSP projects to bring further cultivation of acres. He said farmers were satisfied with the center of government programs.
The head of the Congress announced that the PRANAHITA-SHELLLA project, which was originally intended to benefit from large parts of North Telangana. All speakers have expanded their support to government initiatives and urged farmers to fully use the available devices and schemes.
