The main Minister Bihar Nitish Kumar on Tuesday (May 13, 2025) paid homage to the sub-insert BSF Mohammad Imtiaz, who was tortured during the Sindoor operation, visiting his native village of Narayanpur in Chhapra in the Saran district. The main minister handed over control of £ 50 to the martyr’s family as part of the package of the State Government compensation.
Mr. Kumar also met Imiaz’s sons, Imran Raza and Imdad Raza and other mourning family members offering his condolences and support. He announced that one of the sons of the martyrs would be given a government -based government work, and introduced a number of development projects in honor of Jawan killed.

The announcement included the name of the two kilometer rural roads-the Chintamanganj bridge on the Rahampur-Pop market subordinate to Imtiaz, the construction of the dwarf Shaheed (Martyrs’ Gateway) at the entrance to the village of Jalal-Basant-Basyat. A memorial will also be built in the name of a martyr, said the main minister.
Representative of the main Minister Samrat Choudhary, Water Resources and Parliamentary Affairs Vijay Kumar Chaudhary and Minister of Minority Social Security Jama Khan during the visit were accompanied by Mr. Kumar.
The leader of the opposition and former Deputy Chief Minister Tejashwi Yadav also visited his family today. He offered floral honors and later published a report on the X -Social Media platform and said: “All compatriots are proud of Imtiaz Sahab.
Meanwhile, the second Jawan of Bihar, Rambaba Singh from the Siwan district, who was injured in the same operation, succumbed to his injury on Monday. The soldier, who was recently married, was injured after cross -border fire by Pakistani forces despite the ceasefire announcement along the border of Jammu and Kashmir.
The main minister expressed deep sadness over the demise of Rambaba Singha, the inhabitants of the village of Vasilpur in the Gautam Buddha Nagar police station. Mr. Kumar announced Ex Gratia the amount of £ 50 for the martyr of the next relative and said that his funeral would be made with a full police honor.
“The country will always remember his victim. May the almighty give the strength to the surviving family to withstand this difficult time,” Mr. Kumar said.
