Minister of Road Transport and Motorway Motorway, Nitin Gadkari, warned that ongoing geopolitical conflicts create a situation where World War II could break out “whenever”.
Gadkari made a note on Sunday at the opening of the book.
“The situation is that there is a possibility that World War II takes place at any time in the background of these two ongoing wars,” Gadkari said.
At the opening of the book “Beyond Borders”, the Minister of the Union, who quoted the current geopolitical situation, said that the values of coordination, harmony and love disappear due to authoritarianism and dictatorship by superpowers, leading to conflict all over the world, PTI said.
Gadkari introduced examples of raging Russian-Ukrajina and Israeli War, which required the lives of many people, along with damage to the world and the national economy.
Future policy needs to be found
Gadkari also emphasized the need for world nations to find out future policy after reviewing and thinking about contemporary geopolitical scenarios.
India as a country of Buddha, from which the message of truths, nonviolence and peace has expanded into the world, the minister said.
Gadkari added that due to technological advances and ongoing conflicts and wars, it is becoming increasingly difficult to protect the people of the world and keep humanitarian values.
“There is an atmosphere of conflicts around the world in the middle of the war between Israel and Iran and Russia and Ukraine,” he said, according to the agency report.
As for technology progress, Gadkari said that the growing demand for the use of missiles and drones in a modern war and strikes reduces the relevance of tanks and other aircraft species.
“In the middle of all this, it is difficult to protect humanity. Often missiles are released on civilian settlements. This caused a serious problem and it is necessary to discuss all these issues on the global level.”
The Minister also said that although it is not right to say, the fact is that the geopolitical situation is slowly leading to “destruction”.
“It will not be right to say, but (the fact is) it all slowly leads to destruction. Authoritarianism and dictatorship (ADHIKARWADI-HUKUSSHAHI) of The Supervelmors makes coordination, harmony and love disappears,” he said.
