Message Niti Aayog on “Re -evaluation of Home: Navigation Policy Way”, The aim published in Nový Delhi on Friday (August 22, 2025) is to promote a framework that can be adopted to harmonize regulations and create an inclusive ecosystem in the country in the country. The planning body believes that alternative accommodation, such as domestic, is an opportunity with huge economic potential that can help support sustainable growth of Indian tourism. The report offers a “strategic plan” that unlocks the potential of family providers and breakfast (BNB) in the Indian travel environment.
In his statement, Niti Aayog said the report evokes the knowledge of aggregators, hosts and politicians and emphasizes the role of houses in offering passengers to “culturally absorbing experiences” while supporting local business and generating employment. “This emphasizes the need for light and transparent regulatory frames that ensure the safety of tourists and homeowners, protect heritage and promote inclusive and sustainable economic growth,” he said.
The report noted that homes have a unique ability to mix cultural authenticity with the creation of a living, especially in rural and semi -town regions. “This requires flexible political approaches, building capacities and digital platform integration to strengthen hosts and strengthen consumers’ confidence,” Niti said.
The report proposed that the framework for model policy that states can accept the harmonization of regulations and create a more resistant and inclusive domestic ecosystem. “This framework includes key components to simplify processes, promote wider participation and support for sustainable tourism growth,” the report said. He added that states could develop a centralized digital portal for registration, renewal and management of compliance. “The portal may allow operators to submit documents, track applications, and receive the policy updates and recovery,” he said.
The panel also recommended financial incentives to support tourism at the target level rather than focusing only on individual equipment or home classification. “This will encourage the operator to contribute to regional growth and attract tourists to insufficiently operated areas. A graded motivational approach could be used,” he said.
