Nipah: Only three people are being monitored at Kozhikode MCH

At the Government Medical College Hospital in Kozhikode, only three people on the contact list of the Nipah-infected person are now being monitored.

According to a statement from Health Minister K. Muraleedharan’s office on Thursday (June 18), another person has been discharged after his laboratory results came back negative for the virus and his symptoms subsided. So far, six of the nine contacts of the infected person have been released. No new entries are added to the contact list of a patient who remains on ventilator support.
