
Minister of Health Veen George issued a strict warning and ordered those who came into contact with the woman infected with the Valalanchera Nipah to strictly follow the 21 -day quarantine, despite testing the negative virus.
Mrs. George warned people of satisfaction and warned that the situation should not be taken lightly even in the absence of new cases. It pointed to the status of Nipah’s high priorities around the world and on the spot established strict national and state protocols to combat viral infection.
Meanwhile, the condition of 42 -year -old women infected Nipah in the middle is critical. She was in a coma in the intensive care unit EMS Memorial Cooperative Hospital, Perinthalmann.
Health officials have completed their survey of 4,749 houses to a circuit 3 km from the Nipah house in Valancry.
Up to 166 people were in quarantine because they came into contact with the patient after developing symptoms of 25 April. While 65 of them were at high risk, 101 were at low risk.
The minister asked them to stay in quarantine for 21 days, even if they tested negative on Nipah. They were advised to avoid travel and interactions with others. Those who violate quarantine instructions would be penalized, said an official statement.
