
Nine individuals, including organizers and supervisors, were arrested for the operation of organized prostitution rockets in Madhapur by the Police in Cyberabad. The anti-human unit for trading people (AHTU) made a raid on Super Luxury and Living Hotel BSR on Wednesday 13th August and also saved nine victims.
Among the victims were seven of different states throughout India, including West Bengal (2), Delhi (2), Jharkhand (1), Haryan (1), Pandjab (1), while two were foreign nationals from Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan.
The accused was identified as Herr Singh alias Acid Singh, organizer, Thaammi Srinivas, Supervisor, Pokala Venkateshwarl, Bekmet’s Gulshat, Rakhman’s Malias Lovina Bora, Lakshman Tumu, Akash Bajaj Wasim and K. Parthiban.
The investigation revealed that the accused was provided by women from various regions, advertising on platforms such as Locanto and Jump, and organizing meetings in hotels and Oyo rooms. The police in Madhapur registered the case under the Act on immoral operation (prevention) and the Act on Foreigners of 1946 and started investigations.
The authorities issued a public warning that urged vulnerable individuals so that they would not fall prey to the offer of easy money or trading in legitimate jobs. It is recommended to verify identity documents and check the background of tenants and guests.
